Update - Our brief civic nightmare is over!
Let's hope this willingness to invest in infrastructure will be directed to more useful, needed and more universal projects. Perhaps we can still build affordable housing units, without it being an Olympic Village first. Still hope for that pin-trading festival though.

Webcast info for July 18, 2015
I'm out of town this weekend so this week we'll have the rebroadcast that was supposed to have played on July 4th, which was last year's Fourth of July show. It's never too late, right. You can celebrate Bastille Day too. Viva la France!!
And if you're in Somerville, stop in and say "Hi" to the folks at the SCATV / BFR booth at ArtBeat in Davis Square.

Playlist for the Unpopular Music webcast for July 11, 2015
"Human Beings, vegetable or cosmic dust - we all dance to a mysterious tune, intoned in the distance by a mysterious piper" - Albert Einstein, as quoted on the cover of the Spaceheads' Trip to the Moon EP.
[better than anything I could come up with right now]
If you identify as any one of those groups, see the playlist after the break...

Webcast info for July 4, 2015
Update:
Well the studio gremlins have had their way again. No Unpopular Music webcast for this week. Enjoy the videos and the encore link below.
Hey baby, it's the 4th of July and the SCATV building, and therefore the BFR studio, is closed. Therefore, today we are presenting an encore presentation of last year's 4th of July program.
Please enjoy! At least have more fun than the couple in this song (but those Mexican kids sure have some pretty awesome fireworks).
