In "At McKies" I caught Roswell Rudd quoting (at least) the following - Three Blind Mice, Hackensack, Oh what a beautiful morning, Pop Goes the Weasel, A Mighty Fortress is Our God, The Song is You, Get Happy. My feat of editing is merely overlapping the fade-out of side 1 with the fade-in of side two, which occurs the the beginning of Rudd's solo.
Kyaw Kyaw Naing is from Burma, not Indonesia as I say. I still can't pronounce his name correctly.
I hadn't heard the MALIcool album in quite a while. When I decided to swap out a track that wasn't going to fit with a track from that album of similar length, I had no idea that "MALIcool" was the same tune as "Maine," which I considered playing, but at over 18 minutes, was just too long.
I did a Google search for the text of "The Cold Song" and at the bottom of the top result, a songwriting credit was given to Gordon "Sting" Sumner. Who knew?
