Another chilly day in the Doug Ashford Radio Room, another sort of arbitrary selection of music.

I believe we hit all the stops on the jazz, contemporary classical avant-garde, off-the-beaten-path pop music train, Hopefully they'll all hang together.

I brought home the wrong hours from the BFR backup drive, so ended up re-recording the DJ breaks for the second hour, mostly for continuity's sake, not that I strongly feel the need for you to hear my voice. (I hope you at least miss the traffic noises and the regular slamming of the Media Center's front door.) I had an even harder time with the title of the first track of the second hour in the live version.

As mentioned, the second hour had an assist from Ted Gioia's 100 Best Recordings of 2017 list. It possibly won't be the last.
